About Dan Andrews:

Dan has held various in-house and contracted design roles since graduating from UX Academy, and each position has allowed him to continuously grow as a designer.

His favorite part of design is the breadth of the discipline itself, sitting between people, technology, and business. He enjoys getting into research to understand complex problems as much as working with a range of disciplines to solve them. Over the past few years as a design consultant, Dan has collaborated with a range of businesses from Spotify and Epic Games, to top-tier consultancies like Wunderman Thompson and Elsewhen. Plus, a wide range of start-ups.

Dan enjoys giving back to the creative community. Previously, he mentored career switchers. Currently, he’s part of a program that supports individuals from underprivileged backgrounds in the UK in entering creative industries. When not behind a computer, Dan enjoys hiking, photography, art, psychology, and a variety of other fitness-related activities. In his early 20s, he spent three years in Asia and took an interest in Buddhism. Dan’s passionate about Psychology, including resilience, subjective well-being, mindfulness, and stereotypes. He currently lives just outside of London, England in a house (which has encouraged his passion for DIY) with his partner and two cats (who run the show).
